Educational, not medical
Our diagnostic assessments, including reading and mathematics diagnostics, are educational assessments. They show where a child is in particular skills so that we can plan teaching. They are not a medical, psychological or psycho-educational diagnosis, and they do not replace one. If you are worried about your child's health, development or learning needs, please speak to a doctor, psychologist or other qualified professional. We can discuss a referral with you.
No guarantee of results
Every child learns at their own pace. We teach and plan carefully, but we cannot promise any particular mark, SEA placement, grade or result.
Not part of the Ministry of Education
Think-Top Educational Institute is an independent private organisation. We are not part of, or endorsed by, the Ministry of Education of Trinidad and Tobago. Our practice activities are written with the Ministry's curriculum guides for Standards 3, 4 and 5 in mind. Any references to past examinations are for explaining the style of questions only. We do not publish examination questions.
Practice activities
The free and paid practice activities are learning aids. We check every answer carefully, but if you find a mistake please tell us. Practising with them does not replace teaching, and a child's score on them does not predict an exam score.
Reports and opinions
Reports and recommendations reflect our professional judgement on the day of the assessment, using the information available at that time. A child's skills can change.
